The PRS Custom 24-08 is within the same bloodline as the original Custom 24’s, keeping most of its same features. You’ll find the familiar curvy maple top over its mahogany back and sides, a rosewood fingerboard with bird inlays spanning across 24 fast frets, a PRS Gen III tremolo, and two 85/15 humbuckers. The significant difference lives within its modified electronics DNA. The Custom 24-08 has two mini-toggle switches that activate coil splitting. Combined with the 3-way selector switch, this provides 8 different pickup combinations that cover traditional humbucker and single-coil sounds, as well as various blends of the two. All of these configurations make this one of the most tonally versatile guitars on the market, with all of the premium playability and stunning visuals you would expect from a PRS.
