A gorgeous example of Martin tonality and design at its pinnacle, the 000-42 Modern Deluxe is a new take on Martin Vintage. This 000-14 Fret acoustic guitar offers a wide range of Martin features to draft a new chapter for the name.

The 000-42 Modern Deluxe starts with a Sitka spruce top treated to a Vintage Tone System (VTS) process. This specialized process enrichens the top wood to produce an aged and vintage tone usually reserved for much older guitars. Vintage tonality is further enhanced by natural protein glue construction and a dovetail neck joint. European flamed maple binding found across this Modern Deluxe is paired with gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, and a pearl inlaid logo on the headstock. An abalone rosette and top inlay treatment outlines the 000-14 Fret body shape for an outstanding highlight. This Modern Deluxe includes classic Martin materials like East Indian rosewood and ebony for the back, sides, and fingerboard, respectively. A slightly asymmetrical genuine mahogany neck slips into the palm smoothly for quick trips from higher to lower frets. Modern additions to this Modern Deluxe include a set of Liquidmetal bridge pins and a composite carbon fiber bridge that increases resonance. Combining the outstanding features of Martin past and present, this Modern Deluxe presents an exceptional path to musical mastery.
