Constructed with a square-shouldered body made from Sitka spruce and Flame Maple, the Dove Original sings with warmth and balance. In hand, the Dove Original fills a player's grip with a Round-profile mahogany neck. The neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard with standard-sized frets to make for smooth trips from higher to lower registers.

A bone nut and saddle ensure stability in tuning while Grover Keystone tuning machines precisely and solidly hold said tuning when picked up and played time after time. An LR Baggs VTC under saddle pickup brings the tones of the Dove Original to the stage seamlessly. The Dove Original is beautifully appointed with its front and back body finishes, Mother-of-pearl Parallelogram fret inlays – and the centerpiece of it all – the ornate Dove pickguard.
