More about Reverend Bass
Left-of-Center Lows
The Reverend design philosophy – a left of center instrument at a workingman's price – continues to their line of low-end thunder sticks. Reverend offers four and five string bolt-on and set neck bass guitars, all boasting roasted maple necks and house made pickups. Most feature double cut bodies and carry tons of punch and projection but can be used in a variety of musical styles.
Working with Mike Watt
Veteran punk and hardcore bassist Mike Watt, of the Minutemen and numerous projects, was approached by Reverend to introduce a signature bass. Watt was using Gibson EB basses throughout many years, when one day after four years of research and development and multiple designs, he was shocked by the excellence of the prototype bass put in his hands that would become the Mike Watt Wattplower. The Wattplower is a 30" scale, single pickup machine with a Hipshot bridge and tuners.
