More about Harmony
Harmony is one of the oldest legacy brand names in the musical instrument world. Since its founding in 1892 the brand has created various instruments to meet the demands of players the world over. They have produced ukuleles, banjos, acoustic guitars, electric guitars, and guitar amplifiers. Harmony often served as the first guitar for future stars during the heyday of rock and roll. It’s estimated that they produced over 9 million guitars from the mid-40s to the mid-70s. Popular models included the Statotone and the Rocket, while other brands names such as Stella came out of the same factory. The company ended operations in 1975. Recently the Harmony name staged a comeback with a line of electric guitars made by the skilled craftspeople of the famed 225 Parsons Street Factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. These guitars boast the fit and finish one would expect from the legacy factory, paired with a price point more in line with an import guitar. Russo Music is proud to be part of the next chapter for Harmony Guitars.
