The Chariot Ascending's gain control character varies from dark and spongey to bright and jagged for a versatile op-amp distortion while its clarity control dirties or scrubs the signal for either a broken-up fuzz feel or a clearer signal boost, acting as a blend control. Like many Farm effects, the Chariot Ascending plays exceptionally well with teetering tube amps and pristine solid states alike.
